In ancient times, a dragon's claw clutching a jewel or stone was said to protect the treasure from evil forces attempting to steal it. Centuries later, this motif symbolizes safekeeping of the object it holds. This eye catching tiger's eye talon pendant was originally an antique 10k gold stick pin (circa 1900). Our jeweler removed the pin stem and welded on a 10k gold bail.
