Tom's Thumb 20x30 inches lavenderfields when the summer grasses dryTom's Thumb is the name of a nice long winding trail with crushed stone paths that switch back and forth around large boulders. Its called Toms Thumb because at the end of the trail there is a tall rock with a little bump on top that people thought looked like a thumb. I dont think it does, but seeing that rocky bump from a distance makes it easier to identify the mountain. I took a lot of pictures along this hike and made three paintings from them. I
