chamfered legs are connected by X-stretchers which are in turn connected by cross-stretchers set in from the ends to allow seating on all four sides

and carved pilasters each end topped with carved rosettes

The drawer fronts are carved with a Green Man motif on each panel surrounded by scrolling grape vines. The top is inlaid with a series of diamonds.
