This tree was one I knew well as it was my landmark to start and finish my run along the river trail loop as it grew with a substantial lean toward the water and was easily recognizable. In the summer of 2023 this beautiful Fir was felled. I knew I wanted to memorialize my running tree and brought this lovely piece home with me. I still use its stump as my landmark and remember
