Unlike other harbors there is access to walk along the dock and get close to some of the vessels

With the fresh snow on the grass and the fall color in the leaves I found myself on the capitol steps to capture this image west through Civic Center Park towards the City and County of Denver building

but as I passed by the lake and noticed the steam rising the plan quickly changed

Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background

In the past five years I have explored many places around Denver and the western United States as part of this project

Sunshine on a Rainy Day Small Note Cards Unlike other harbors there isAs I was waiting for my flight to depart a brief rain shower had moved through the Seattle area. This provided an obstructed view of the outside with the drops on the window. As the blue skies started to move into the area I noticed the Alaska Airlines aircraft parked and captured this image. By focusing the phone on the drops of rain on the window it allowed the background scene to go out of focus providing this capture in one frame.
