With many of the trees filled with fall colors I also found some had just a few reminders of the season as the majority of their leaves had fallen

The macro lens also allows me to get closer to the object getting more of the detail of the piece being captured

Finding a nice angle I captured the peaks of the canopy as it rose into the threatening clouds of the day

An April snowstorm visited the Denver and once the storm had ended I went out to explore around the city

One summer on the way to Steamboat Springs I stopped at Rabbit Ears Pass to photograph the wildflowers which were in full bloom at that time

Denver Evening from City Park Presentation:Photobox With many of the treesUpon landing back in Denver it appeared the clouds were lining up for a dramatic sunset in the mile high city. As I was driving home I was thinking about a couple of locations to take advantage of this light and came up with City Park due to time concerns. About a half hour prior to sunset everything was still looking great in the sky and as I quickly stopped home they mentioned it on the early news that it could be a colorful sunset once again.
