Exit Light, Enter Night, watercolour on panel, 6 x 12" (SOLD) Butterfly creates a warm and inviting"Over a year ago, a Facebook friend posted a stunning sunset photo that he had taken, and it reminded me of the landscape of my childhood: the Upper Ottawa Valley in eastern Ontario. He graciously granted me permission to use his photo as reference for a painting. Since then I have made numerous attempts to capture the vivid colours of this scene in watercolour and failed every time. But I kept refining my attempts and eventually nailed it. I can feel
