These transfer printed, earthenware tiles were manufactured in the late 1900's in Desvres, Northern France. The tiles are back stamped. Each tile is decorated in cobalt blue on a white tin glazed ground, centred with a stylised starburst motif and framed within a manganese purple diamond border.
