Here too there is a hint of the sauvage but the spice and floral elements render the ripe nose somewhat more elegant even with the ample earth nuances on the plum and dark berry liqueur scents

The palate offers vibrant, slightly tart red fruit. Quite spicy in the mouth, surfeit with energy and displaying superb structure and grip on the finish. This is a magnificent Ruchottes Chambertin.
