This is close to a 50 50 blend in a cracker vintage for both Shiraz and Mataro with the latter probably just pipping the former in the best of vintage stakes. Whilst the Shiraz is all about instant satisfaction. plenty of rich, plump ripe dark fruits the Mataro is meaty and savoury and acts as the perfect foil to the sweeter aspects of Barossa Shiraz.
