Gold plated body on a wood base, with a mother of pearl panel set into the top. The lighter unit lifts out from the base and is gas refillable. The spark mechanism still strikes. It ships empty of gas, as vintage lighters must. The plating shows its age a little corrosion to the pin and softening to the gold
