The stepped borders of the triangles are in yarn as well

reminiscent of flower buds

Walrus Ivory Schooner sterling silver Attached to the base ofThis is a charming carving of a two masted schooner. It is carved from walrus ivory and the sail and two jibs are made from thin horn. The rigging is made with strong black thread. I don't know who made it but it is a wonderful small model and will look good on a desk or shelf. L. including bowsprit 5 "; H. 4 " c. 1950 #8349
