The front plackets are constructed from a sweet floral fabric that was salvaged from antique quilt remnants we had on hand - the fabric was used as the quilt's backing

and rounded pocket edges are bound in a rich burgundy linen blend fabric

The Shawl Coat is a straight-cut style with a shawl collar that is meant to fit a bit oversized with a boxy sleeve (similar sleeve to the Chore Coat) complete with two inside snack pockets
