This is a heavy braid made entirely of gold zardosi work plaited with a wire twisted braid

It has been cleaned however there is a faint residual stain that can only be seen on close inspection

It has fine zardosi work and lots of heavier embellishment all along the lower hem

The fabrics are carefully reclaimed to minimise wastage and the product is very much handmade

The fabric is an American georgette. Each flag is hand cut and has been interfaced to give it a little more stability. The fabric has been used and may have some piling in parts.
