Barbeito Madeira Single Harvest Tinta Negra 2011 (50cl) Wine Tasting with Carmenère's darker leafy noteThis Single Harvest results from the blend of musts obtained from grapes grown in unique vineyards located on the southern and northern coasts of Madeira. The grapes from Estreito de Cmara de Lobos were harvested one week before full ripeness. We selected grapes from high altitude areas of So Vicente to obtain higher acidity. The grapes were pre crushed and pressed with stems. The aging process in Canteiro began in March 2012, in old French oak casks.
